BAFE is a non-profit making organisation and operates independent third party schemes of approval for fire protection systems
and services.
As an accredited member
of BAFE Cwmbran Fire Protection (SW) Ltd, ensures that its products
and services conform to recognised standards. Where relevant, an independent third party certificate of conformance is issued
that can be used as part of a statutory defence in law, should the necessity arise.
We operate the ISO Quality Management System, which is one of the best schemes within the
industry designed to ensure consistency and improvement of working practices, which in turn should provide products and services
that meet customer's requirements. As an accredited member Cwmbran Fire Protection (SW) Ltd every year undergoes thorough
audits of our system and workmanship.
The Fire Industry Association, or the
FIA a s more commonly known, is a not-for-profit trade association with the aim of
promoting the professional status of the UK fire safety industry. As well as promoting the professional standards of the fire safety industry, we provide training courses to members
and non-members alike on all the latest legislation and regulations governing the industry and operators within it.
We are a member of IFEDA, The Independent Fire Engineers Distributors Association. IFEDA is one of the leading Independent Fire Trade Associations.
Their
objectives include the professional and ethical delivery of fire protection products to the end user. All members must obtain
and adhere to nationally recognised qualifications. Cwmbran Fire Protection (SW) Ltd is
an IFEDA accredited company. This means you can be totally confident in our competency.
NICEIC is the electrical contracting
industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK. The
NICEIC provides industry-leading
certification services, Building Regulations Schemes, products and support to electrical contractors and many other trades
within the construction industry.
